Hi All,
I am configuring retrofit for dual landscape and want to test transport mechanism from DEV [Maintenance Landscape] to D01 [Implementation landscape]. I have some doubts regarding the configuration.
Landscape:
DEV - Maintenance Landscape
SM1 - SolMan 7.1 SP 12
D01 - Implementation Landscape
Questions:
1. Does all systems DEV, QAS & PRD needs to be configured to test retrofit or just 3 systems[DEV, SM1, D01] will be enough?
2. Does transport routes should be configured between [DEV, SM1, D01], I have created RFC & domain links between solman and two landscapes (maintenance & Implementation). Also, if the system already contains domain transport routes assigned do I need to create a new transport group specific to retrofit configuration?
3. Logical components should be assigned to new maintenance project and logical component should have product assigned. How can we assign two product systems to logical component to assign ECC & Retrofit systems.
